April 3, 2017PARCC testing is coming up this month. We will be testing starting on April 17, with homerooms starting on April 18. Students in third, fourth and fifth grades will participate in seven PARCC Tests. Three tests will be in English Language Arts and four tests will be assessing students in Mathematics. It is a state law that all students are given the tests. The tests will be taken on the Chromebooks and students will work in their classrooms. The assessments take 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Each student will be given a score. A parent report will be prepared and sent home in the fall of 2017, usually at conferences. Like every night and morning, make sure students get a good night sleep and a good breakfast so they are ready for the tests. If a student is absent on a test day, efforts will be made to make up the test.
